On Valentine's Day this year I went to a winter ball at the Alexandria Hotel. Downtown LA has so many historic old buildings that are barely being used. How about this random wing we stumbled upon? Beautiful corridors and rooms just waiting patiently to be rediscovered...
I heart him. I just bought his new micro portfolio but I haven't quite decided which ones I'm going to frame yet. The collection of 15 prints is called "Bunnies and Bees."

Once a year there is a gigantic hair show at the convention center in downtown Long Beach. It's where hairdressers, estheticians and nail techs don their finery and go to peruse the newest, latest and the greatest and to buy buy buy. My favorite part is the people watching. And yes I did approach these strangers and ask to take their picture. I explained that I was doing an art project based on the correlation between fashion and hairstylists. It's not completely a lie.
